The Role

ASTONFLY is seeking a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor – Ground Instructor to join the Ground Training department and deliver theoretical instruction for pilot training programs. You will contribute to the development of a key department in the training of professional student pilots, operating to high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Train student pilots in the subjects required to obtain their theoretical certificates, in accordance with regulatory requirements and approved training syllabi

• Deliver theoretical training courses according to the training schedule and operational needs

• Develop course materials and propose updates or improvements when necessary

• Provide teaching and student support to maximize student success rates

You hold an ATPL Theoretical certificate, or at a minimum can demonstrate strong expertise in ATPL theoretical subjects, and you have an excellent level of English (minimum C2 on the European Scale). Ideally, you already have professional experience as a pilot (instruction or airline) or in delivering theoretical aviation training. You also genuinely enjoy teaching groups of students.
